I have owned an Artillery Sidewinder X1 for six years and have been extremely happy with it. It has required repairs (which is to be expected with all brands of these printers) that were all inexpensive and easily accomplished. When I read of the Artillery3D Sidewinder x4 Plus S1 and saw the price it was being offered at I couldn't resist and ordered one immediately. The negative reviews in Amazon for the smaller version, the Artillery3D Sidewinder x4 Pro, would have frightened me off if not for my long experience with my X1. It's possible that the company's quality control has hit a bad period, but my machine went together quickly and easily and has functioned beautifully from the first test print of a Benchy on the furnished flash drive, and it has been producing noticeably clean and impressive prints since. The only complaint I have is that I have yet to get the wi-fi connectivity to work, but running prints from the flash drive is painless, so the lack of a connection to my computer is really no problem or even really inconvenient. The X1 has always given me excellent prints, and the X4 has improved to the point that the results could almost be mistaken for commercially molded objects, and at a speed two to three times as fast as my faithful X1. You take your chances buying any brand of these printers, all of which have a large number of passionately bad reviews. None are for the mechanically inept, they are not toasters, but I have been more than happy with both my Artillery machines and would gladly buy one again.
